Bruce Kassler

Bruce is a sustainability and environmental professional with over 40 years of experience in environmental assessment, construction management, and sustainable design. An auditor with the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance (CSWA) since 2018, he helps wineries and vineyards enhance their environmental performance and meet rigorous certification standards. A Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) and LEED Accredited Professional (BD+C), Bruce spent over 25 years as a Project Manager for a civil engineering firm and is also a Certified Building Inspector and member of the USGBC and EAA. He is known for his practical approach, technical expertise, and lifelong dedication to environmental stewardship.

Yvonne Kassler

Yvonne brings over 30 years of experience in administration, accounting, and compliance management across the medical, hospitality, and sustainability sectors. As Administrator for Kassler Sustainable Vineyard and Winery Auditing Services, she oversees operations, client communications, and audit coordination in alignment with CSWA standards. A Certified Hospitality Accountant Executive and FIDM graduate, Yvonne has extensive experience in quality and internal audits, HR oversight, compliance reporting, and financial reviews, with a proven ability to implement systems that improve efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and support sustainable business practices.

Lexi Kassler

With a Master’s in Sustainable Food Systems and a career rooted in food, agriculture, and communications, Lexi brings a fresh perspective to the world of sustainable winegrowing. Her background includes global work with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, content strategy and communications for food, health, and wellness brands, and boots-on-the-ground experience in sustainable wine education. At Vinewise, Lexi currently leads the marketing and administrative work. Lexi is also training to become a CCSW-accredited auditor by early 2026, expanding her role in helping vineyards and wineries thrive sustainably across California.

Elliott

Elliott is the most enthusiastic member of the Vinewise team, specializing in on-site audits of the four-legged variety. With a nose for detail, he takes his inspections very seriously… especially when it comes to discovering hidden treats in the vineyards. When not conducting his “quality control” checks, Elliott can be found supervising from the shade, offering moral support in the form of pets, and ensuring everyone takes their lunch breaks on time.
